Meet the Dentists
Dr. Joelle Speed
As an expert in pediatric dentistry my mission is to educate, disrupt and serve both my industry and my community. My goal is to help those around me realize and believe success comes by doing things differently. I will prove it can be done, show you how to do it for yourself, pave the path for those who come after me and light the fire that launches a movement in “doing things differently”. I am a game changer and I am changing the game through kindness, generosity, love, compassion and inspiration. I put people before money. I do the right thing, even when it’s not the easy or popular thing. I do things from the heart because I am a person of integrity and will never sellout or sacrifice what I believe for a quick buck. It’s mission over money. I do not accept no and do not believe it cannot be done. Where there is a will there is a way. Failure is not an option because I commit to personal integrity, living with excellence, showing love, giving back, serving and putting others first.
I am in this business to leave a positive impact on every person in whom I come in contact with by being fair, honest and generous. I believe in paying it forward and creating magical experiences for those around me because I want people to know what different feels like. I am a source of information that people can trust and have confidence in because I work hard to ensure I am always at the top of my game in both education, technology, and the people I surround myself with. I value my team as they are an extension of me and what I believe. As a team we strive to leave everyone better than before we encountered them. We are a place of community to our patients. My legacy will come from leading my life with an open heart, never settling for average, doing good and loving others. I will know I have succeeded when the field of dentistry is forever changed by being more transparent, putting patients first, self-sufficient as practitioners in their field and most importantly when the quality of our work is no longer dependent on what insurance we take.
I will make a difference. I will leave an impact. I will forever change the industry I have chosen as my profession.
Dr. Graham Hearn
Dr. Hearn is very excited to be a part of the team at the Smile Gallery! He is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry who served as faculty at the University of Washington before moving to Northern California to practice. He has a passion for providing patient-centered, scientifically-based care. He still teaches at the University of the Pacific and at the University of Washington.
He left his childhood citrus farm in Visalia, California to complete undergraduate training at sunny UC San Diego, and dental school at foggy University of the Pacific in San Francisco. Then, he finished a two-year General Practice Residency at University of Virginia and his Pediatric Dentistry residency at the rainy University of Washington, and was chief resident at both programs.
In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors, backpacking, traveling, and skiing.
“Every child deserves a great smile, and to have a great experience at the dentist. Seeing the dentist should be fun, relaxing, and inspire a lifetime of healthy teeth!”
Dr. Jeffrey Fisher
Dr. Fisher provides office-based general anesthesia for dentistry throughout the greater Sacramento area and inland valleys of central California. In-office general anesthesia provides the convenience of treating fearful, uncooperative, and special needs children in a professionally monitored setting that is comfortable, convenient, and familiar to the dentist, parents, and patients. Dr. Jeffrey Fisher lives with his family in the Sacramento area. Because he loves children, he has dedicated his anesthesia practice to providing services primarily for young, fearful or uncooperative pediatric patients. By providing services for these extremely anxious children, he is able to shield them from the terrifying experience of being physically restrained during dental treatment, leaving them with an extremely negative memory of dentistry that can last a lifetime. His goal is to provide quality anesthesia care to his patients, relieve any fear or discomfort, and help them achieve a positive experience during dental treatment.
In addition to being a successful Anesthesiologist, Dr. Fisher is also a co-creator of the Sprig EZCrown. You can learn more about him on his website: www.anesthesiaforlittlepeople.com
